Buckle and Boots Quick Fire Five
with Backwoods Creek

1. How are you feeling about getting on stage at Buckle and Boots?
A mixture of excited and relieved - it’s been so long since our last live gig that we just can’t wait to get back up on stage! We’ve done various livestreams since everything shut down, but nothing beats a real live gig with fans that love the same music you do!

2. What can the crowd expect from your set?
A big party! Lots of high-energy songs to both dance and sing your heart out too. We’ve released a range of new singles over the last year and you can bet we’ll be throwing them into our set with some fan favourite, and maybe even a few new ones!

3. What encouraged you to want to play Buckle and Boots?
Buckle & Boots has really become a staple in our year, and that has to be completely down to the fans. It’s one of those festivals where everyone is engaged right from the get go, and as artists you just can’t beat that!

4. What is your favourite song to play live?
It’s a hard choice that probably comes down to two - ‘Keep Off The Grass’ or On The Line. On The Line is so much fun to play, and really pushes us as both musicians and entertainers. But then Keep Off The Grass has become the song that everyone sings along to and at that intensity and tempo it’s impossible not to feel good and get caught up in it!
5. What 2 facts should we know about you?
  1. We record all our music ourselves
  2. You won’t forget one of our shows

You can catch Backwoods Creek on the Main Stage at Buckle and Boots on Sunday at 5:10pm

True country music is honesty, sincerity, and real life to the hilt.
