Country on the Common 2026 Preview
Returning to Tooting Common for the second-year running, South west London once again has it's own country festival with the second edition of Country on the Common taking place over the weekend of July 4th and 5th.
Following on from the resounding success of last year’s first running, the event is back again with a stellar lineup of the finest country and Americana talent from both sides of the Atlantic which is headed up by the iconic Seasick Steve and the feel good Honky-Tonk vibes of Cody Pennington.
The Oakland, Californian blues rocker tops Saturday’s bill which also features Snakefarm Records/Universal’s shining light in the realm of country music on this side of the pond through reigning BCMA Award Entertainer of the Year Kezia Gill along with fellow highly decorated pioneer of the British country music scene but now Nashville based superstar Twinnie in addition to good friends of the site (who also both happen to be fellow diehard Spurs fans) Jonny Morgan & The Moral Support and the Camden’s Queen of Americana, Miss Simeon Hammond Dallas who will both deliver charismatic and captivating sets filled with slick performances and top level banter.

The second day of the festival will see Pennington backed up by UK Blues Hall of Famer Elles Bailey in addition to Harleymoon Kemp who has one of the most decorated family heritage in all of music and also returning for a second year running, the fabulous and smooth vocal sounds of Eddy Smith & The 507 along with BBC Radio 2’s Vernon Kay presenting his Country Jukebox.
