Country-Pop Star Chanel Yates to Perform at Charity Event Next Weekend

Rising UK country-pop sensation Chanel Yates has announced that she will be performing at The Dukes of Highgate’s ‘Country Against Cancer’ charity event on Saturday, 22nd November. This special charity event promises a night filled with fun, entertainment, and heartfelt moments. Chanel will deliver a 30-minute live set starting at 8:30 PM, bringing her signature blend of country charm and pop energy.

All proceeds from the evening will go directly to Cancer Research UK, supporting vital work in the fight against cancer. In an inspiring show of solidarity, the venue’s owner will also be shaving her head live on stage to help raise additional funds for the cause.

The upcoming charity performance at The Dukes of Highgate promises an intimate and memorable experience for fans and supporters alike, showcasing Chanel’s signature mix of bold lyricism, playful charm, and infectious stage presence.

"I’m really honoured to be part of this event”, says Chanel. “It’s a cause that means a lot to me personally, so I’ll be putting on my big girl boots and dedicating this show to my grandad, and to anyone else who’s been affected by cancer or is going through grief of their own"
Alongside her charity performance, Chanel will also be taking part in Song Suffragettes at Lil Nashville earlier in the day, the celebrated all-female singer-songwriter round supporting and spotlighting women in country music.

Known for her dynamic performances and emotionally charged songwriting, Chanel's tracks are already earning spots on popular streaming playlists and gaining airplay on the biggest UK country radio stations, as well as support from BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2.

This summer, Chanel made history as the first British country artist to perform at Reading & Leeds Festival, debuting her empowering new single ‘Colourblind’ on the main stage. The track has since gained strong radio traction and continues to expand her reach.

Her breakout single ‘Big Girl Boots’ has now surpassed 2 million streams across and her vibrant blend of storytelling and pop energy is helping introduce country music to a new generation of UK fans.

Chanel is now preparing for her first ever headline show at Colours, Hoxton on 12 February 2026, a recently upgraded venue due to overwhelming demand, a testament to her fast-rising popularity. More information and tickets here.
