Buckle and Boots Quick Fire with Dan Davidson

1)      What are you most looking forward to about playing Buckle and Boots

- That's an easy one, I'm so excited to make some new friends and experience the UK country fans. Jumping into a new market is always so exciting. Each audience around the world has a different vibe, I think what I do is such a great match for what the fans over there might like.

2)      What can fans expect from you this year?
- I always want to be the guy who brings the party up a notch. I want to get the crowd singing along, and see some smiling faces.  My goal is to be the most high energy show of the weekend!

3)      What is your favourite song to play live?
- “Found” is always a crowd favourite. In Canada, the song will be going platinum very soon, which is crazy! Independent songs rarely go gold let alone platinum. Its a drunken love song (but not the sappy kind…), that's really easy to learn and dance to. I also am really looking forward to playing my new single “Warm Beer” for the FIRST TIME EVER!
4)      What other artists are you excited to see on the bill?
- Well, my good buddy from Quebec, Matt Lang will be there so that will be fun! He's a rockstar in French Canada. I'm also a huge fan of Tim Prottey-Jones. We play on different nights, but he’s someone I had hoped to see live finally.

5)      Will the festival crowd get an early listen to any new music?
YES! My new song “Warm Beer” is out NOW! Just came out Friday, and Buckle and Boots will be basically the first crowd to ever see it performed live. Its a drunken poets beer garden anthem :)
