It's a wet October evening in England so here is a song to to sing along to, which even has UK connections with song writing credits for Matty Benbrook and Amy Lawton! The latest single from Edmonton’s Dan Davidson is an anthem for anyone that has used a group of close buddies as a drunken support group. Sometimes we all just need a f*&@!#ing break! The video for the song is being released on Friday, October 23rd - directed by CCMA, WCMA, and ACMA nominee Travis Nesbitt (Jess Moksaluke, Brett Kissel, Washboard Union, Black Mountain Whisky Rebellion etc). The song was produced by CCMA and CMAO Producer Of The Year, and long time close friend, Jeff Dalziel
The 6 x CCMA nominee, and 10 x ACMA winner has had a busy year despite COVID 19! Dan has been spending his time spearheading Canada’s first digital music festival (Diesel Bird Digital Fest - which featured Marianas Trench, Saint Asonia, James Barker Band, Dallas Smith, Tenille Townes, Terri Clark etc and raised $54,000 for Unison) and Diesel Bird Hotel Fest (Canada’s first hotel music. festival featuring JoJo Mason, Clayton Bellamy, Andrew Hyatt and more). Additionally, he has been releasing viral and original content non-stop. Recently, Dan released another addition to his “DD and the Butter Lovers” bluegrass cover series, coving Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now” which was noted by the grammy award winning songwriters of the songs. This series has been featured on Billboard, Revolver and other top music authorities.
