Drake Milligan Returns To Australia With The Tumbleweed World Tour – Debut Headline Shows – July 2026

US country star Drake Milligan returns to Australia this July, bringing his Tumbleweed World Tour to Melbourne and Sydney for his highly anticipated debut headline shows.

Also performing as the headliner at Lasso Country Music Festival in Eagleby, QLD on Saturday 11 July, Milligan will first take the stage at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on Wednesday 8 July, followed by Liberty Hall, Sydney on Thursday 9 July.

With “How Much Beer,” Milligan taps fellow Texan Randall King for an ode to the working man’s watering hole. Written by Milligan alongside Luke Laird and Brice Long, the track is a twangy salute to blue-collar beer champions, barstools, and neon lights.

A student of classic Country music with the swagger of early Rock ‘n’ Roll, Drake Milligan is an electrifying entertainer who cites George Strait and Elvis Presley as his musical heroes. His unique twist on traditional Country has been embraced by fans, peers, and major media including Billboard, PEOPLE, American Songwriter, USA Today, Access Hollywood, and more.
Last in Australia for CMC Rocks QLD in 2024, where he impressed crowds with his smooth baritone vocals and a sound that bridges modern and traditional country, Milligan returns in 2026 with his brand-new album Tumbleweed. The follow-up to his 2022 debut Dallas/Fort Worth - which reached No. 5 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists Chart -Tumbleweed marks a confident sophomore release that has already won over fans and critics alike.

Milligan first burst onto the national music stage with Dallas/Fort Worth, topping both the iTunes Country and All-Genre charts and earning a spot on Billboard’s Best Country Albums of 2022 list. The lead track, “I Got A Problem,” also reached #1 on Australian Country Radio.

The Texas native has since appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show, performed at the Grand Ole Opry, Stagecoach, and CMA Music Festival, and made history as the first artist to perform on an F1 racetrack during the inaugural F1 Grid Gigs in Austin, TX.

Following his breakout debut, Milligan scored a No. 1 Canadian Country Radio hit with “Honky Tonkin’ About” alongside The Reklaws and carried that momentum into 2024 with his critically acclaimed EP Jukebox Songs. He also returned to primetime television on America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League.

Milligan has since joined Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, Luke Bryan, and Blake Shelton on tour.

With more than 230 million streams worldwide, Milligan enters his next chapter with the release of Tumbleweed, with the album’s title track already climbing into the UK Country Radio Top 10. His global Tumbleweed World Tour kicks off across the US at the end of 2025, continues through Europe in early 2026, before making its way to Australia for his highly anticipated headline debut.

Boasting an incredible stage presence and flawless vocals, don’t miss Drake Milligan as he returns to Australia for these unforgettable headline shows this July.
