Josh Ross announces highly anticipated debut album 'Later Tonight' & releases title track

Today, global country force Josh Ross announces his highly anticipated full-length debut album, Later Tonight, out September 19th via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company, MCA Stateside, and Snakefarm in the UK.

Produced by longtime collaborator Matt Geroux who also helmed Ross’ JUNO Award-winning extended EP, Complicated, this 15-track collection – including ‘Drunk Right Now (Na Na Na)’ with Akon, plus UK country radio staple, ‘Single Again’ – doubles down on the emotive, rock-tinged country that has defined Ross’ worldwide ascent.

From the addictive bent of US Radio #2-and-climbing single 'Single Again', to double-edged early releases 'Hate How You Look', and 'Leave Me Too' that peaked at #2 at Canadian Country radio, Ross’ raw admissions shed light on the endless possibilities of what could happen, Later Tonight…
“The title of this record, and the title track, became the thread that tied this project together over the last couple of years,” Ross says. “Every single we’ve put out, every show we’ve played has led to this. We dug deep writing for this album, leaning into getting caught in your feelings, breaking up, making up. No matter what, all roads led back to ‘Later Tonight’.”

In tandem with the announcement, the reigning CCMA Entertainer of the Year also gives fans the title track of the album, ‘Later Tonight’ – listen HERE.
Yesterday, Ross earned 6 CCMA nominations, tying with Cameron Whitcomb as this year’s most-nominated artist. His nominations include ‘Fans' Choice Award’, ‘Male Artist of the Year’, ‘Entertainer of the Year’, ‘Video of the Year’, ‘Single of the Year’ and ‘Musical Collaboration of the Year’.
