After his breakthrough appearance at C2C: Country to Country back in March this year, genre combining Warner Music Nashville artist, acclaimed songwriter and producer Shy Carter made a triumphant return to the UK appearing at two of our most prestigious festivals: Nashville Meets London and The Long Road. Carter was one of the most talked about artists following all three of these festival performances where his sets included his own material from his debut EP “The Rest Of Us” which was released in November 2021 but also highlighted why is one of the most in demand songwriters in the genre.
His credits include: “Never Coming Down”, “God Whispered Your Name” (Keith Urban), “Stuck Like Glue” (Sugarland), “One Call Away” (Charlie Puth), “Mr Almost” (Meghan Trainor) and Kane Brown’s multi week chart topper “Heaven” but is now really starting to make his mark as an artist in his own right on both sides of the Atlantic.
We were fortunate to catch Shy perform at all three UK festivals this year and after his performance on stage at The long Road, Lucy and Jamie were lucky to hang out with not just the coolest guy you will ever meet but one of the nicest and most welcoming, which you can listen to below:
