Matt Lang Quick Fire 5

1. What can the C2C crowd expect from a Matt Lang set?
They can expect to have a good time, we’ll make sure it’s a party! We can’t wait to come and play for you guys!
2.  What encouraged you to want to play at C2C and use it as your introduction to UK fans?
Honestly, it came as a surprise. It’s an honour to be able to play this great festival, with such an amazing lineup! I feel very lucky to be able to bring my music to Europe so early on in my career. I hear the UK has some of the greatest country fans, so we’re really excited to come and play for them!
3. What is your favourite song to play live?
I think it would be Love Me Some You. It’s my first ever single in English and what really launched this whole project 2 years ago, so this song will always have a special place in my heart.
4. What sights do you hope to see while in London?
It’ll be my first time in Europe so I’m hoping to see as much as I can. But of course, I’m looking forward to hitting the pubs, trying some local beers and hearing some live music!
5. What 2 top facts should we know about you?
- English is not my first language. I am French Canadian from a little town 3 hours north of Montreal, QC.
I actually learned to speak English less than 2 years ago, and before doing music professionally, I used to be a lumberjack.

True country music is honesty, sincerity, and real life to the hilt.
