Owen Riegling Announces Sophomore Album, In The Feeling, Out April 17

Today, fast-rising country artist Owen Riegling announces his highly anticipated sophomore album, In The Feeling, set for release April 17 via Universal Music Canada and Big Loud Records. The announce arrives alongside his new single, “Love Hate Love,” out now with an official visualizer here. Pre-save In The Feeling here.

Produced in Nashville by Oscar Charles (Chase Rice, Elvie Shane) mixed by Jordan Rigby, In The Feeling features Riegling co-writes with chart-topping Nashville hitmakers such as Luke Laird (Eric Church, Carrie Underwood), Jonathan Singleton (Lainey Wilson, Tim McGraw, Luke Combs), Jimi Bell (Brantley Gilbert, Jon Pardi, Luke Combs, Bailey Zimmerman), Kyle Sturrock (Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley) and others. In The Feeling, the 12-song labour of love reflects the numerous major life changes experienced by a man hurtling through a tornado of travel and transition, including last summer's marriage to a bold new chapter in his career. Physical editions of the album will include 12 tracks as well as a handful of special interludes.

One of Riegling's most memorable co-writes is the highly energetic single “Love Hate Love,” which sees Riegling pairing up with Luke Laird (Eric Church, Carrie Underwood), Luke Preston and producer Oscar Charles. “The day we wrote 'Love Hate Love' back in May of 2025, we knew it felt special, I still feel that way,” shares Riegling. “It has an infectious energy that sticks with you. It's definitely an animated version of my relationship but there is a lot of truth to it.”

“Love Hate Love” offers another glimpse into the world of, In The Feeling, exploring contrast where opposites meet. Speaking on the album, Riegling says, “In The Feeling is a coming-of-age record and my first concept album. It's a song-driven road trip with no end in sight. I've spent most of the past two years on the road, and these songs came from writing what I see and how I feel. This album is the soundtrack to life as it feels for me right now.”
An experienced performer and steadfast road warrior, Riegling has built his career on authenticity and connection. Since winning the 2022 Boots & Hearts Emerging Artist Competition, the Universal Music Canada/Big Loud recording artist has earned a platinum-certified hit with “Old Dirt Roads,” released his expanded EP Bruce County (From The Beginning), and toured extensively across North America.

Riegling's storytelling has evolved into a confident new era shaped by life on the road, guitar in hand and some soul-searching.  On April 18 2026, Riegling will hit the stage at Toronto's iconic Massey Hall for a special One Night Only 'Live In Concert,' currently sold-out (more info here). Additional live dates will be announced soon, keep up to date here.
