Parmalee’s UK Debut & Exclusive Show + Randy Houser’s First UK Festival Headline at Country Calling 2026, Essex

Country Calling Festival returns 14–16 August 2026 to Chelmsford in Essex (UK), with an expanded experience designed by country fans, for country fans. As the UK’s fan-first and ultimate family country music festival, Country Calling combines world-class music, immersive country culture, and fun for all ages. For the first time, fans can stay onsite with camping, glamping, and live-in vehicle options, keeping them close to the action at this 10,000-capacity festival featuring over 70 artists across five stages.

The 2026 lineup is bursting with international headliners, returning favourites, and thrilling UK festival debuts, giving fans the chance to catch their heroes live and discover exciting new stars. This is a truly global lineup, with artists from Australia, Canada, Europe, the UK, the US, and even Hawaii joining the festival

Randy Houser, a mainstay of country music in the US, takes the headline slot at his first UK country festival. He will deliver an electrifying set packed with fan favourites like “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight”, “How Country Feels”, and “Like a Cowboy”, promising Chelmsford an unforgettable, high-energy experience that will have the crowd singing along from start to finish.

Parmalee bring their explosive live energy to the UK for the very first time. With over 1.6 billion streams, six #1 country hits, and unforgettable live shows, this is a headline moment years in the making. From the record-breaking “Cowgirl” to fan favourites like “Take My Name”, “Just the Way”, and “Girl In Mine”, Parmalee promise a UK debut that fans will be talking about forever. Plus it will be the ONLY place to see Parmalee in the UK in 2026!

One of Australia’s brightest stars, James Johnston, makes his UK debut at Country Calling. With over 123 million global streams, six #1 airplay hits, and an incredible 118 consecutive weeks in the Top 20 of the Country Hot 50, Johnston’s performance is set to be unmissable.

Also making their UK festival debuts are Drew Green, the acclaimed Sony Nashville songwriter turned artist; Madeline Merlo, CCMA-nominated country-pop standout; Trevor Martin, the viral crossover star with 30+ million streams; and Lakelin Lemmings, whose heartfelt small-town storytelling is winning hearts everywhere. Joining them are international acts Blake Henderson, Tori Darke, Thunderstorm Artis, Kasey Tyndall, and Macartney Reinhardt, each bringing their own unique flavour of country to the UK for the first time.

Returning international favourites promise to thrill fans with a mix of country roots and modern country-pop, featuring Hannah Ellis, Tyler Rich, Erin Kinsey, Charlie Worsham, Alyssa Bonagura, Jeff Cohen and Halle Kearns.

The festival also continues to champion UK talent, giving British artists stages of every size - including the Main Stage. Homegrown stars joining this year’s lineup include Twinnie, Chanel Yates, Janet Devlin, Jake O’Neill, Bronnie, and Jack Browning, alongside many more exciting acts.

Beyond the music, Country Calling offers a fully immersive country lifestyle experience: kids’ activities, a shopping village, food trucks, live cooking demos, aftershow parties, a funfair, American muscle cars, and more - creating a festival perfect for families, friends, or couples.

This lineup announcement is the biggest yet, with more artists still to be revealed!

Weekend tickets are on sale now at country-calling.com. Kids under 16 go free with every paying adult (1:1 ratio). Plus you can spread the cost with Klarna. Day tickets will be released closer to the festival once day splits are announced, and are subject to availability.
