Louisiana born singer/songwriter Sara Douga is set to release acoustic EP Lines out tomorrow June 26th. Recorded in Lafayette, Louisiana and produced by Tony Daigle. The album features an array of well established great artists and up and coming blazing talents. The 3 track EP shines a light on Douga remarkable songwriting and the appeal she brings within her songs to listeners.

With the title track, “Lines” featuring another Louisiana native Lane Mack, released last week June 19th, the tongue in cheek tune gets you on dancing to its beating rhythm and sassy guitar playing. While, “Fair Warning” co-written with great Phil Madeira, opens up with a soul like vibe keyboard playing along with a mesmerising fingerpicking led by Mack. The EP then closes with “Playbook” co-written with Louise Goffin and Roddie Romero who lends his beautiful guitar playing and background vocals on the track. The easy-going, mellow track paves way for the song and Douga’s writing to shine.
Douga is no stranger to great songwriting, in 2019 two of her co-writes with Jim Lauderdale were released  on Lauderdale’s From Another World album while Spring of this year she had another co-write to her name on Lauderdale’s bluegrass release When Carolina Comes Home Again.

One thing to leave you with country music friends is to keep an eye on Sara Douga as you’ll be hearing her name a lot more soon!
