Do you write about personal experience, the experience of others, observations, made-up stories, something else, or a combination?
- I definitely find inspiration and rely on a combination of these things. There’s something fascinating to me about the idea of sitting down with an idea or an array of ideas and then chipping away at the block with my guitar, pen, and paper until I have a song that I enjoy. When/where do you do your best writing? - In the early morning at home with black tea in my favorite mug. What’s your favorite food on the road? - Mexican food on and off the road. I could eat it every day! What’s your dream venue and why? - Newport Folk Festival, the mecca of all folk music festivals! |

After a long waited period since his debut that has received a plethora of regional accolades, and spending over 100 days playing shows to eager audiences, he’s back with his sophomore effort.
