The Grahams Share The New Single ‘Georgette’ From Their Current Album ‘The Bridge’ & Announce March UK Headline Tour

The Grahams - Alyssa and Doug - have spent most of their 37 years together making music. Their connection has endured from being teenagers who would follow The Grateful Dead on tour through to founding the influential 3Sirens Music Group. As The Grahams they spent a decade crafting a trio of concept albums each of which was themed around exploring the States via river, rail and road . Yet for their current album ‘The Bridge’ they focused on their most personal songwriting to date. They now introduce the project to UK audiences by sharing the new single ‘Georgette’ and announce a UK Headline tour for March 2026. Listen HERE.

‘Georgette’ is a postcard of their rootsy, heartfelt Americana with Alyssa’s expressive vocals sitting in the space between Carole King and Stevie Nicks, all to a backdrop of soulful, pop-leaning Americana. It’s a tribute to their six-year-old daughter with haunting instrumentals, it captures the pride of parenthood but also the mystery of what the future holds.

Alyssa Graham says, “This is a deeply personal song about our daughter and the fear of not getting to see her grow up. Time is moving fast, life is short -  ‘What’s in her dreams and where will she go?’ There is emotion, but also mischief in the music, just like in her spirit.”

The Grahams wrote ‘Georgette’ with the track’s Grammy-nominated producer Dex Green (Elvis Costello, Shemekia Copeland) as well as another Grammy nominee, Aaron Lee Tasjan, and Kate York (acclaimed solo artist and the key songwriter on the TV hit ‘Nashville’).
As with the wider ‘The Bridge’ album, ‘Georgette’ features a band of highly accomplished musicians. They include Matt Chamberlain(Pearl Jam, David Bowie), Sebastian Steinberg (Fiona Apple, Dianne Krall), Ray Jacildo (The Black Keys), Rob Burger (Iron & Wine, John Zorn) and Patrick Warren (Bob Dylan, Lana Del Rey). Everything was recorded during sessions at The Grahams’ own3Sirens studio in Nashville.

While their previous albums were rich with tales of people and experiences they encountered on their travels, on ‘The Bridge’ they dared to face up to their own truths: how they came to this moment in time; both the things that unite them and the ways in which they differ; the devastation of seeing a loved one suffer with Alzheimer's; and their love of their roots in New York City. It’s a record which sees The Grahams continue to expand their artistic journey while inspiring others.

Alyssa continues, “We were always trying to write these voyeuristic stories about people we met on the road, places we went, and different cultures, but this time, we tried something new and had an amazing experience with these songwriters, digging into who we were as children, who we’ve become, what our real life is about. It was scary and challenging.”

Doug adds, “This record is hyper personal, and we went places with the lyrics that we would never go ourselves.”

The Grahams will return to the UK for a headline tour in March. Tickets for the dates, listed below are on sale now HERE.
