The Sit Down with Jess and the Bandits

Jess and the Bandits have been back in town in time for Christmas, and Jessica Clemmons couldn’t have been more excited to bring her intimate ‘Carols by Candlelight’ tour to the UK. Having teased audiences with a few live dates in May, including a headline appearance at March Into Pitlochry Festival, Jess rounded up her bandits for a string of festive dates which commenced on 28th November in Manchester and will be wrapped up in Chelmsford on 13th December.
The band took a hiatus in 2019 when Jess took some time to start a family with new husband and photographer Chris Peavey. Last year they welcomed their second son, and though life as a working Mom has its challenges, Jess has spoken candidly on social media about her desire to get back to the UK and “find herself again”. Her winter tour couldn’t have come at a better time for Jess and the army of fans who flock to see the lively country-rock band in action.

When she got back to the UK, Jess caught up Jamie to give us the lowdown on what to expect from the tour, plans for new original music and being really open on re-establishing her place at the top of the UK country scene which you can listen to here:
Tickets for the remaining “Carols by Candlelight” dates on Jess and the Bandits tour which concludes on December 13th in Chelmsford are available HERE. Their festive cover of “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” is out now on APPLE MUSIC or SPOTIFY whilst “Emotional Baggage” is also available on SPOTIFY and APPLE MUSIC.

For more info on Jess, you can check out the WEBSITE and check out the socials on FACEBOOK INSTAGRAM TWITTER.

True country music is honesty, sincerity, and real life to the hilt.
