Many country music fans in the United Kingdom had their first introduction to Caroline Jones back in 2019 where she performed at the seventh edition of C2C: Country to Country in London. Now, four years later she makes her return to the festival both as a solo performer and also her first UK performances as a full-time member of the Zac Brown Band who will close out this year’s festival in London. We last caught up with Caroline in early 2021 (read HERE) whilst she was in New Zealand, where she spend a large amount during the pandemic and gained the inspiration for her sophomore album titled “Antipodes”.
Her UK return in March with her long-time collaborator Zac Brown and the band who she had extensively joined as a guest before officially joining the band is not the only thing on the horizon for Jones in 2023. Her new album is on the way later in the year and we recently received the first flavour of new music with the release of “Keep It Safe” which is a duet written with and featuring our good friend (and pretty much honorary Brit) Alyssa Bonagura which is out now, available HERE, and she told us all about when she recently caught up with Jamie over Zoom which you can listen to their really fun chat below:
Caroline Jones will be back in the UK and Ireland in March where she will be headlining the main stage as part of Zac Brown Band in Glasgow, Dublin and London in addition to her own individual set on the BBC Radio 2 stage at C2C: Country to Country in London. Full festival details and ticket information are available on the WEBSITE or socials (INSTAGRAM / TWITTER / FACEBOOK).
